This ethereal, french silk organza dress is light-weight, whimsical, and simply breathtaking with its outer layer in ivory and lining in white.
It's form-fitting in all the good ways, but not suffocating, and allows you to move throughout your important day in style and comfort (as well as on the dance floor!).
With its draped bodice, contour neckline, trumpet skirt with V back, and extra 4 inches added in length, there is also a beautiful "pick-up" of the organza on the lower right side. Additionally, the designer sewed in a blue bow inside the dress for good luck.
Altered to the measurements listed, right after my wedding I took it to the dry cleaner to get professionally cleaned and preserved in a sealed box (with white gloves included!), at a price of nearly $700. That said, I had never opened the box until now to take pictures! There is some staining on the hem of the bottom lining from walking outside, and there was a slight tear on the outside layer of the organza in the train but it has been patched.
The gorgeous veil gifted by San Francisco designer, Jin Wang, included with the purchase of the gown was preserved with the dress.
