The bodice has not been altered. Them hem was altered to fit me at 5' 2" wearing 3 1/2 inch heels. The straps were taken up about 1/2 inch. Avalon "Fleur de Vie" Dramatic and statuesque, our Avalon gown is fabricated in beautiful Fleur de Vie French lace. A little story :) This is the first ever Avalon dress made for a bride at Amy K! I found it on their instagram on my way to the salon. Upon arrival I inquired about the dress, but it hadn't been released. Alyssa, my consultant, ran upstairs thinking they might have just gotten the sample - fresh back from fashion week. I tried it on and my mom and I both fell in love <3 I would love for this dress to live on instead of wasting away in a closet, only to find that the next generation has a completely reinvented idea of what a beautiful dress is ...
